Bridal designer and television personality Randy Fenoli is expanding his work beyond the aisle with the announcement of his first children’s book, A Perfect Dress for a Flower Girl. The release is set for April 20, 2027, and will be published by Penguin Workshop. The illustrations for the project were created by Kendra Binney.
The story of Poppy and the wedding dress
The narrative follows a young girl named Poppy, who is preparing to be a flower girl at her Auntie Rose’s wedding. Poppy searches for the perfect dress and eventually meets Randy Fenoli and his dog, Chewy. As the big day gets closer, Poppy begins to feel nervous about her role in the ceremony.
With support from her aunt, the bridal party, and Randy, Poppy learns that true confidence comes from believing in herself rather than relying on the clothing she wears. The story uses the wedding setting to explore themes of courage and self-assurance for young readers.
Fenoli described the inspiration for the book in a social media post. “I’m SO EXCITED to release the cover of my first Children’s Book coming out on April 20th, 2027! I wrote this book to inspire young readers, build their confidence, and help them see themselves in the characters. I wanted this joyful story to help them understand that their choices shape their future and that wise decisions can help them achieve their dreams,” he said.
